Pearle Irene Fritz, daughter of Charles and Elsie
(Saint) Dresback, was born July 12, 1920 at Humboldt,
IA. She attended school and grew to womanhood
in Humboldt, IA.
On November 27, 1940, Pearle was united in marriage
to Leander Fritz of Elgin, NE. They lived and
worked in the Humboldt area until 1973, when they
moved to Phoenix, AZ. She was employed at Camelback
Hospital in Phoenix in the Dietary Department.
She worked as a cook or waitress most of her years.
She retired in 1982 and remained in the Phoenix
area until February 1997, when she moved to Elgin,
NE. After losing her husband Leander, she met
Gary Gall in May of 1988. He became a companion
and special friend.
Pearl is survived by her companion’s children:
Gary (Carolyn) Gall and family of Phoenix; John
(Loraine) Gall and family of Phoenix, AZ; Leslie
Ann (Bill) Rose of Highland Mills, NY; 41 nieces
and nephews; along with a host of great, great-great,
great-great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband
Leander in 1987; companion Gary Gall in 1996;
2 brothers: Ray and Royal Dresback; and 1 sister:
Catherine Gordon.
