In Memory Of
Charles D. "Chuck" Reicks

 

Charles Dean Reicks, son of Alphonse B. and Helen (Arends) Reicks was born May 11, 1953 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Norfolk, NE. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, attended St. Johns Elementary School in Petersburg, NE and graduated from Pope John High School with the class of 1972.

On February 2, 1979, he was united in marriage to Rhonda Frasch at Albion, NE. The couple lived in Petersburg where Chuck was co-owner of the Petersburg Locker for 30 years before it was sold and closed. He owned and operated the Western Rose Café from 1998-2005, and moved to Neligh, NE in March 2008 where he managed the Neligh Lockers.

Chuck organized and held the Petersburg Trail Ride for 20 years and enjoyed every one of them, especially the friends that he made.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Melissa Reicks of Pleasant Dale, NE; Leslah Casper and husband James of Greeley, CO; 2 grandchildren: Connor and Callie Casper of Greeley, CO; parents: Al and Helen Reicks of Petersburg, NE; 3 brothers: John Reicks and wife Nelda of Naperville, IL; Dennis Reicks and wife Sharon of Juniata, NE; Monty Reicks and wife Teri of Petersburg; and many relatives and friends.

Chuck was preceded in Death by his sister Theresa, brother Douglas, and grandparents: Alphons and Elizabeth Reicks.
